Tour de France champion Bradley Wiggins earned the title Sir
Sportifer - cyclist Bradley Wiggins was given the title Sir, Excellencies of the United Kingdom, by Queen Elizabeth to the service and its contribution in the branch.
Wiggins won the prestigious race this year's Tour de France and captured the gold medal at the London 2012 Olympics.
"I never imagined would get the title. This award is really wonderful, "said Wiggins. "I still can't believe this was given the title," added the Olympic champion four times.
Dave Brailsford, the team's Director of bicycle racing United Kingdom that much help Wiggins and several other prominent athletes, also got the title of Sir Jock with two sons and one daughter of athletes United Kingdom.
Brailsford holds a key role behind the dominance of United Kingdom athletes in Olympic bicycle race branch and the London Paralympic Games.
"I feel very lucky. I am also happy because bicycle racing evolved into major sport (United Kingdom), "said Brailsford.
"The Success achieved in this branch of the United Kingdom is due to the team work in a very long time," he said.
